Responsibilities :
As a Senior Systems Engineer / Chief Architect professional with MTSI you will work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently.
You may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and / or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
This position will be located on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB).
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to :
- Assist system engineers in developing aircraft survivability specifications.
- Assess and review aircraft survivability specifications.
- Assist in the development of aircraft survivability test plans.
- Review test data from survivability test and evaluation.
- Provide performance assessments.
- Support the development of survivability support subsystems that enhance aircraft maintainability.
- Work with contractors and government engineering and test personnel.
Qualifications : Requirements :
Requirements :
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant DoD work experience with no less than four (4) years’ experience in a SAP and / or SCI environment within the last five (5) years.
- Chief Engineer level engineering skills as well as knowledge and experience establishing, building, fielding, and sustaining secure, trusted, core processing and communications architectures to include : definition and development of open systems architecture standards
- Knowledge of and experience in the identification space system information assurance boundaries and definition and approval of security controls for each boundary consistent with the Intelligence Community Directive 503 Risk Management Framework.
- Experience in the development and coordination of comprehensive Space system interoperability requirements both internal to the system and externally to BMC2 elements.

Education Requirements :
Bachelor of Arts, Science, or Engineering (MA / MS / ME) degree.
