Opportunity Overview
Mechanical Engineering Coop Summer / Fall 2024
The PLM / Mechanical Team supports the development of tools, processes and data support for Teradyne’s Semi-Conductor Test Divisions and Industrial Automation Divisions .
This includes mechanical engineering tools support and product data management and Product Lifecyle Management process and tool support including Repair Management.
Examples include part creation, Bills of Material creation, Engineering Change Management, Suppliers, Supplier Parts, Engineering Documentation, Export Compliance Management.
While focused on engineering the process scope touches all aspects of the product lifecycle from design, manufacturing, sales support, operations, and repair.
Responsible include but will not be limited to :
- Supporting the PLM team
- Performing analysis on tools
- Updating tools
- Migration support
- Production Mechanical Tool support including SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional, Teamcenter PLM and others

- Mechanical Engineering Student currently enrolled in BS degree program, in at least their third year, preferably a student in the Mechanical Engineering program at Merrimack College.
- Solidworks CAD, expertise on Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional, Teamcenter PLM , Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Prior Coop experience a plus
- Position is located at our North Reading MA facility, all qualified applicants must be available to commute to and work on site in North Reading, MA facility
