Job Description : Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Overview : As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be the senior executive responsible for managing the financial actions of the company.

Your role involves overseeing financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, treasury management, and ensuring the company'

s financial health and compliance with regulations. You will provide strategic guidance to senior management, contribute to the overall success of the organization, and drive financial decision-making processes.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Financial Strategy and Planning :

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors based on financial analysis and projections.

Financial Reporting and Analysis :

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS), and tax regulations.

Treasury and Cash Management :

  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and strategic investments.
  • Oversee banking relationships, cash forecasting, debt management, and investment strategies.
  • Implement risk management strategies to safeguard company assets and optimize financial resources.

Strategic Financial Leadership :

  • Partner with the CEO and senior management team in developing long-term strategic plans and business initiatives.
  • Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments through due diligence and financial feasibility analysis.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance profitability, operational efficiency, and shareholder value.

Financial Risk Management and Compliance :

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
  • Establish and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Coordinate audits and examinations with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.

Leadership and Team Development :

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and retain talented finance personnel, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and professional development.
  • Promote a high-performance culture that drives innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence in the finance department.

Compensation :

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree, MBA, or CPA / CFA designation preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management or executive leadership position.
