About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2004 To $2226 Job Title : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Job Specialty : Surgical Services - Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum years not specified License : Valid RN or Compact RN and Allied license required at submission Certifications : Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist Must-Have : - COVID-19 Vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions and declinations allowed)- Willingness to float between units- On-call availability required, including intermittent nights and weekends- One year of employment references within the last three years, do not need to be consecutive Job Description : Work in a short-term acute care setting with a Level II Trauma and Pediatric Trauma Center.
- Be adaptable and prepared to float within the facility.- Participate in a teaching hospital environment, contributing to the learning and development of medical staff.
- Follow hospital scrub color policies for different units, including any color for Registered Nurses (RNs) and Respiratory Therapists (RRTs).
- Utilize the Epic charting system effectively to document care and patient information.- Attend an orientation program of 40 hours to become familiar with hospital protocols and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety guidelines, including vaccination requirements.- Embrace flexibility in scheduling without the assignment of block schedules.
- Provide one-on-one care in expected ratios tailored to surgical services.- Participate in a supportive team environment within a large facility, accommodating 629 staffed beds.
