As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrols in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and tenants. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the property and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Your presence and exceptional customer service will support a secure environment, in line with Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture. Pay Rate : $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Wednesday 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thursday 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Saturday 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sunday 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and / or responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and tenants.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with inquiries or directions while representing Allied Universal in a professional manner.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possession of a current guard card or security license is preferred.
  • Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
