Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse (Pediatric OR RN) for a 13-week travel contract in Seattle, WA.
Join our team in a leading children's hospital, where you will provide exceptional perioperative care to our youngest patients.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist the surgical team by preparing the OR, handling instruments, and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Monitor pediatric patients' vital signs and conditions throughout surgeries, providing immediate interventions if necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including surgical counts and documentation.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical experience.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team, patients, and families.
Requirements :
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Pediatric OR RN.
- PALS and BLS certifications required.
- Expertise in perioperative nursing procedures and pediatric care.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
