The Senior HR Workday Compensation Analyst is responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting the advanced compensation module in Workday, aiming to ensure high system reliability, performance, availability, and overall optimization.
This role involves collaborating with HR, Compensation, and Payroll teams to drive continuous improvement efforts, including support for the bi-annual Workday system updates.
Responsible for leading and guiding the design and architecture of the advanced compensation modules within the Workday system.
This includes creating and maintaining compensation grid configurations, developing complex compensation eligibility rules, custom bonus calculations, long-term cash incentive programs, and configuring compensation letters using Workday documents.
The role also requires in-depth knowledge of core compensation functions such as grade and grade profile configuration, compensation business process design and setup, job catalog maintenance, earnings and compensation codes, clawbacks, and compensation plan creation and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, or a related field typically required.
- 3+ years of experience configuring both Workday core and advanced compensation modules.
- Proven track record of organizing and managing Workday implementations, from development through deployment, including ongoing support.
- In-depth understanding and extensive experience with large-scale HR transformation projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex messages.
- Ability to set clear expectations and deliver results within the Workday configuration team.
- Solid understanding of estimation methodologies.
