What You'll Do

  • 14+ years of experience Software Engineering, Product Development, Engineering excellence at scale, Solid technical exposure in Logistics and Supply Chain industry.
  • As a lead Engineer your role will be pivotal in providing comprehensive technical leadership and collaboration with core platform team.

You will be engaging closely with Platforms, EA, Product Teams, Security and SOE team.

  • Lead the decision-making processes related to the selection of software architecture and proposal for customized solution.
  • Develops the technical "vision" and designs specifications of assigned projects and may perform as implementation lead.
  • Driving the Architecture and modernization plan of platform towards Global Platform.
  • Responsible for enabling the System Development Life Cycle methodology and implementing associated cross-functional tools to ensure adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Provide comprehensive technical leadership collaborating with a variety of team members including working cross-functionally with the broader technology team at Maersk to drive common platforms and new services.
  • Ensure product architecture and implementation is maintainable and scalable to accommodate future development.
  • Ensure industry best practice is being implemented in terms of Infrastructure Architecture; Continuous Delivery and Integration;

Deployment; Security; 3rd-level Support and automation.

Collaborate with other Architects on interdependencies and best practices.

Who You Are

  • Proven background designing and delivering complex, high performance, highly available integration solutions in WMS domain preferably Cross Dock and YMS.
  • A successful track record or demonstrated proficiency as an engineer who has worked on C#, .Net, Web Services and Databases like MSSQL, SQL with any cloud exposure.
  • Good knowledge of WMS functional knowledge with exposure of tier 1 implementations.
  • Experience working on or building large scale solution, Streamlining CI / CD, DevOps principals.
  • Partner with the Product Owners, Support teams, and other Software teams to identify issues and design solutions.
  • Write code with scalability, maintainability, performance, and integration with other components and systems in mind.
  • Apply tools, methodologies and standard methodologies for the improvement of the product development process, and to facilitate simple fast and cloud-based releases.
  • Partner and collaborate with the key stakeholders and domain architects to deliver architecture roadmaps to drive key strategic initiatives.

E.g. the current state architecture, transition state architecture, and the target state architecture. Experience with Microsoft Azure App Services will be added advantage.

  • Agile project experience along with working on Agile tools like JIRA.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work across organizational boundaries and matrixed reporting structures.
  • Ability to fully understand business goals and metrics, turn data into insights, and translate requirements into actionable analysis.
  • Able to present and communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by excellent written and oral communication.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and technical thought-leadership.

Job Type : Full Time

Salary : $175 to $185

Benefits : Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.

The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
