Seeking an Accounting Clerk in Santa Ana for a corporate office in manufacturing. Position is full time, onsite, contract until August 2024 to cover for LOA.
Compensation range $26.00-$28.00 / hr. Work scheduled M-F 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accounting support to accounting supervisors or other managers within the department.
This individual will track and research any accounting issues that arise. They will work closely with all internal business units to aid in their financial tracking.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full cycle A / P for 3 companies between 35-50 invoices daily
- Check runs $150,000-$200K weekly budget
- A / R deposits, send invoice links to pay and charge CC, mail checks, and collection emails.
- Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
- Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts.
- Process vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 yrs.+ accounting experience.
- Ability to exercise sound, professional judgement and working knowledge of materials and sources of supply, exhibit ingenuity when necessary, and perform data entry on a computer.
- Manufacturing industry experience
