Job Summary And Qualifications
The Staff Nuclear Medicine Technologist's primary responsibilities are for producing diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures as ordered, and assisting physician or radiologist in delivering high quality patient care. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!
- The Nuclear Medicine Technologist model's adherence to the Hospital's applicable policies, protocols, practices and expectations
- Nuclear Medicine imaging and computer manipulation and processing
- Camera quality control radiation safety
- Radioisotope administration and documentation
- Image processing and labeling
- Scheduling of procedures
- Use of office computers, filing system, phone and paging systems
- Transporting of patients
Qualifications
Must have satisfactorily completed a two - year training program in Nuclear Medicine or equivalentCalifornia State license CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)Must be certified through the ARRTNew hires or transfers to a different modality must achieve certification within six months of that assignmentMust maintain current CPR certificationVenipuncture certificationMust be current with continuing education requirementsAbility to communicate effectively orally and in writingStrong interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of teamworkBenefits
