Summary :
We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Refinance Escrow Officer (Junior) to join our team! You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of the refinance escrow process, ensuring a smooth and efficient closing experience for our clients. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and grow in the exciting world of mortgage lending.
Responsibilities :
Meticulously review loan contracts and documents for completeness and accuracy. Prepare detailed escrow instructions and settlement statements.
Maintain clear communication with lenders, brokers, borrowers, and other parties involved in the refinance process to gather essential documents and ensure everyone is on the same page.
Balance escrow payoffs, taxes, and other financial adjustments with precision.
Conduct title searches and work collaboratively to resolve any title issues that may arise before closing.
Coordinate and conduct the closing meeting, ensuring all documents are signed correctly. Disburse funds to the appropriate parties according to the closing agreements.
Maintain meticulous and organized records and files throughout the entire escrow process.
Provide exceptional customer service to all parties involved, addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications :
Minimum 3 year of experience as Jr. Escrow Officer.
Strong understanding of real estate transactions and escrow processes.
Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations, TILA (Truth in Lending Act), and other relevant mortgage industry laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse individuals.
Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and 10-key typing.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
