St. Elizabeth Nursing Home is looking for part-time Certified Nursing Assistant's (CNA's) who have completed their CNA Program.

Originally founded in 1967, St. Elizabeth is located just blocks from downtown Janesville in the beautiful Courthouse Hill Historic District between Upper Courthouse Park and Jefferson Park.

Responsibilities

Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with residents / patients / clients and family members / personal representatives.

Responsible for maintaining a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.

Attend training sessions, staff meetings and in-services; complete required educational units annually and obtain a minimum of 12 hrs.

Read and adhere to resident rights agreement and report any violations immediately.

Maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with all internal and external customers.

Requirements :

Commitment to quality programs and services for the residents / patients / clients.

Excellent communications and human relation skills.

Ability to relate well to the residents / patients / clients, family members / personal representatives.

Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.

Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions and exhibit flexibility when needed.

Ability to hear communication and communicate verbally, visually and in writing with staff and residents.

Tolerant of interruptions and flexible when changes occur - may be subjected to verbal or physical outbursts from residents.

Active Wisconsin CNA license or the ability to obtain.

Education : High school or equivalent (Preferred)
