Job Description :
GPM Truck Center is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems
- Perform brake and suspension repairs
- Perform engine and transmission repairs
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy-duty truck repair
- Cummins Certifications a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Must have own tools
- Valid driver's license
