Position Description The Department of Environmental and Health Sciences at Spelman College invites applications for a part-time Lecturer and lab instructor of the Advances in Medical Microbiology course to begin in August 2024 (fall).
We are seeking an outstanding scholar-teacher dedicated to excellence in teaching concepts and theories of Microbiology.
The department has a strong and proven reputation for educating and training women of African descent to excel in STEM fields.
The successful applicant will have a doctorate in microbiology, immunology, biomedical sciences, or related areas and be prepared to teach courses at the undergraduate level.
Candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to working with women and underrepresented minority students through teaching, mentoring, and research are especially encouraged to apply.
