We are seeking a Mid-Level Water / Wastewater Engineer to add to our team in Denver (Broomfield office location). Responsibilities

  • Serves in a project engineer, project lead, or project manager role depending upon experience on water and / or wastewater recovery projects
  • Works collaboratively with engineering team and clients to plan, design, construct, and optimize water and wastewater facilities
  • Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of medium to large sizes of moderately complex nature
  • Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with key staff of other organizations and companies
  • Applies technical experience for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments
  • Involved on team that prepares proposals, conducts interviews, and negotiates contracts with clients after selection
  • Develops significant relationships with new and existing clients
  • Active in professional associations, including presentation of technical papers, member of technical committee, officer of local or national organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer
  • 6-12 years professional experience (exclusive of any advanced degree)
  • Experience includes planning, design, construction oversight, and optimization of water and / or wastewater treatment facilities
  • Creative foresight and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering problems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
  • Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Design and construction phase experience

Pay Range

$100,000 to $135,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
