Marathon TS is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support a federal client in Washington DC.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain a CI / CD platform for development teams.
- Develop and implement best practices for AWS cloud architecture and migration to AWS GovCloud.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless automation solutions and successful project execution.
- Maintain comprehensive internal documentation for all application and environment activities.
- Utilize modern monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.) on AWS EKS clusters.
- Integrate performance and test automation into the CI / CD pipeline.
- Remediate vulnerabilities in CI / CD tools and software, including container hardening.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to the CI / CD pipeline, including product upgrades, installations, and configurations.
Required Qualifications :
- years of experience in a production environment.
- years of experience in AWS cloud engineering.
- Strong experience with container orchestration using AWS EKS clusters in a production environment.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC, CloudWatch, RDS, S, EKS, VPC, etc.), VPC, Subnets, Route, ALB / NLB, and Security Groups.
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems and Docker / Kubernetes.
- Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, YAML, and JSON.
- Strong expertise in Git, GitLab, and Jenkins pipeline development.
