About The Position
Job Title : Mammography Technologist Job Specialty : Mammography Job Duration : 16 weeks Shift : 8 or 10-hour days, Fridays must be included in the weekly rotation.
Potential schedule may include Tuesday-Friday, with a Saturday rotation. Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Active WA license required Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Ability to perform ultrasounds Job Description : Perform high-quality mammography and ultrasound procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.- Operate and maintain imaging equipment efficiently.- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver accurate imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the EPIC charting system.- Participate in the Saturday rotation as required.
- Follow established protocols and procedures, adhering to best practices in mammography and ultrasound.- Demonstrate professionalism and compassion in patient interactions.
- Stay updated with continuing education and advancements in mammography technology.
