The Role : DCO Systems Technician

As a DCO Systems Technician at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in excellence, delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine what's possible in AI, cloud and enterprise data center needs. Your work will directly impact the future of technology and the sustainable growth of the Internet.

In this position you will work as a team player to provide technical escort in support of all maintenance, operations, and expansion efforts; including critical infrastructure of power, cooling systems, communications, and facilities. Additionally, you will complete preventative maintenance as planned by Systems Management.

What You'll Do

• Ensure and maintain 100% critical systems uptime.
• Train towards becoming a First Responder to critical infrastructure alarms.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of work orders.
• Handle different tools and equipment with precision.
• Adhere to Switch Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Work with vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets Switch standards.
• Assist in inspecting buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
• Perform assigned collateral duties and tasks assigned by management staff.
• Attend assigned meetings and training.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Drive next-level innovation in Data Center Operations – Systems to support our mission-critical infrastructure.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where execution is key.
