Job Summary :
The Clinical Supervisor will oversee the clinical operations of our speech language pathology and occupational therapy clinic, ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to our clients.
This role involves managing the clinical team, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership and Management :
Manage staffing and assigning cases based on therapist aptitude
Facilitate new client intake process
Lead therapist communication with families; facilitating decisions around treatment plans
Connecting new staff with information and resources to ensure clinical competence to diagnose and treat their assigned caseload
On site for a minimum of 80% of clinic days (8-6) T, W, Th including at least one evening.
Ensure compliance with ASHA and insurance companies regarding onsite for supervision of therapists
Review and sign CF session notes, progress reports, and evaluations (the clinical supervisor does not function as CF supervisor)
Clinical Oversight :
Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA.
Ensure compliance with insurance billing rules
Quality Assurance :
Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Address and resolve patient and staff concerns promptly and effectively.
Business Operations :
Oversee billing and coding processes through collaboration with administrator who completes day to day billing operations
Oversee scheduling through collaboration with administrator who manages client / therapist communications regarding scheduling
Coordinate with outside affiliated agencies
Oversee purchasing for clinic materials
Professional Development :
Stay current with advancements in speech language pathology and integrate new knowledge into clinical practice.
Encourage and support staff participation in continuing education and professional organizations.
Qualifications :
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in a clinic setting
Experience in treatment of childhood apraxia of speech, autism, and / or dual diagnosis
Knowledge of business management principles
Compensation :
This is a part-time salaried position, with a combination of in person and a-synchronous responsibilities. The salary range is $55-65K with a maximum weekly commitment of 24 hours per week.
