As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues that requires an enhanced presence and asset protective services. This position an integral part of the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter-Con provides its clients every day.

GSOC Operator Specialist

The GSOC operator is responsible for providing primary service support for in the areas of security access control and alarm monitoring, fire system monitoring, emergency monitoring, threat alerting, CCTV monitoring, and dispatching of personnel. The GSOC is the main intake for all responsibilities assigned to this site.

Main Responsibilities :

• Dispatching routine personnel and coordinating incident responses that occur on corporate premises, or events, using appropriate communication methods.
• Responses can include medical emergencies, fire emergencies, civil emergencies and other emergencies on company property.
• Responses might include coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency responders.
• Monitor, review, analyze and escalate CCTV at corporate facilities, up to including retail.
• Reporting out of the ordinary or abnormal conditions to the local security personnel.
• Receive, evaluate and disseminate incoming information and reports from multiple sources, including local security personnel, facilities, company employees and vendors.
• Operate and monitor access control systems, actively engaging and analyzing alarms related to access control and intrusion systems.
• Maintain process control systems and databases used with the GSOC.
• Utilize monitoring workstations and emergency systems.
• Provide support to the duties outlined by Security Leadership and GSOC Management as needed. Support other duties as assigned.
