About the facility location
While in Boston, Massachusetts, you have the opportunity to see one of the most historic cities in the United States. In between all the tours and famous sites, take a trip to Fenway Park or get some seafood at any of the downtown spots like the Union Oyster House, which is one of the oldest restaurants still in operation today in the United States.
About the clinician's workday
The orientation process for this position includes EMR training and is required prior to the first day. The practice is an outpatient clinic operating Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a required 1-hour lunch break.
There is flexibility in the schedule, allowing for a 4-day workweek if desired, with the fifth day reserved for administrative duties.
Administrative time is built into a standard 5-day workweek. The clinic uses the EPIC EMR system, and candidates must hold a valid Massachusetts license, DEA, BLS, and board certification.
A COVID vaccination is required, with no exemptions allowed. Credentialing typically takes 1 to 2 months if expedited, with two references being the most common delay.
The clinicians day-to-day responsibilities will focus on bread-and-butter cases, and while lunch is required, it is not paid if worked through.
There is dedicated time during the day for administrative duties.
