What does a Mitigation Technician with Paul Davis do?

The Mitigation Technician will be working as part of a crew to establish and clean up various types of contaminants as a direct result of a loss (water, fire, storm, mold), removing debris and measuring and documenting various environmental conditions.

This includes loading / unloading equipment to get the area ready for reconstruction.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to :

• Ability to use a smart phone or tablet to upload pictures, documents, and receipts required by the company as part of the daily routine
• Display considerate and courteous customer service and communication, while respectfully entering homes or businesses
• Attend morning company meetings and comply with a rotating on-call schedule that includes scheduled nights / weekends
• Show initiative to get all projects completed in a timely manner
• Serve others in our community in their time of need while exhibiting a willingness to learn and grow with the company

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Candidate must have alignment with our Core Values of being Respectful, Resourceful, Committed and Fun
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation to and from office
• Comfort and competence with modern technology
• Cell Phone to download Time Sheet and Communication Applications
• Desire to continually learn new things, adapt to change, and motivated to make more money + build a solid career in Restoration
• Strong communication skills paired with exceptional customer service abilities

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements :

The physical environment requires you to work in all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having the ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 lbs.
