OVERVIEW

McKim & Creed is a leading top 150 ENR-ranked firm and we are seeking an enthusiastic Senior CAD Designer to provide technical AutoCAD Civil 3D support of Civil Engineering Water / Wastewater design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team to produce design / construction drawings and specifications on some REALLY COOL projects!

YOUR DAY-DAY WILL INCLUDE :

• This person will work in a project team setting and support the designers and engineers with development of AutoCAD drawing files.
• Manage project assignments and coordinates with other CAD staff.
• Produce plans, profiles, cross-sections, elevations, structure sections, construction details, references, and perspective drawings.
• Manage CAD drawing files for production, deliverables and archiving.
• Prepare drawings for various members of the project team.
• Coordinate with others outside of the project team as necessary for project development.

WHAT YOU NEED :

• High school diploma or GED and college level CAD classes.
• 10 + years of experience using Autocad 2022 (or newer)
• Must be methodical, precise, and consistent but enjoys some variety in work schedule and can tolerate change.
• Enjoys working alone when required but can work effectively on a project team.
• Good technical design skills required.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT :

• Knowledge of Revit preferred
• Experience working on water infrastructure projects (i.e. water distribution and wastewater collection / pumping projects) preferred.
