Senior Project Manager/Business Analyst

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly-skilled, team-oriented candidate with both project management and business analysis experience to assist one of our top financial markets clients with a critical transformation initiative.

Candidate will be a fast learner, independent and entrepreneurial and ideally have experience as product or process owner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with program delivery of complex business objectives
• Provide support to track project milestones and delivery
• Develop metrics and reports with enhanced visualization for stakeholders' communication
• Support senior-level executives with creation of C-level presentation materials to aid the communication of program-level status and information for various stakeholders
• Capture, resolve, and escalate risk & impediments to ensure that program delivery continues effectively and unencumbered
• Maintain inventory of project activities for data and process differences
• Maintain inventory of data owners, controls, and control suitability assessments
• Work with internal teams and Senior leadership to identify Data owners across a subset of securities data attributes and subsequently ensure adherence to Data Policies
• Work with identified Data Owners, Technology and Business SME to inventory and review existing controls for all in-scope data attributes and assess suitability to Data Policy
• Collaborate with senior product managers and risk managers to create action plans for additional controls to enable better data quality and risk reduction

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 7 years of experience with business analysis, ideally with experience as a product or process owner
• Basic knowledge of finance and trading lifecycle
• Experience with Agile methodologies, business analysis and product development frameworks.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company (including Senior Executives) to manage, inform and influence outcomes.
• Experience navigating organizational complexity between multiple senior stakeholders and explaining complex processes at executive level
• Motivate teams to solve problems and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple geographies
• Nice to Have :
• Experience with SharePoint and Power BI
• Experience with Security Reference Data (Financial Products)
• Experience with data analysis on Mainframe systems

In the US, the target base salary for this role is $165,000-$185,000. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.

We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors
