Registered Nurse - Employee Health Services

Position Highlights :

• Position : Registered Nurse Employee Health Services
• Location : Glenbrook Hospital
• Full Time / Part Time : Full-time (Exempt) 40 hours per week
• Hours : Monday through Friday between 7 : 30AM / 8 : 00AM - 4 : 00PM / 5 : 00PM
• Required Travel : Will need to travel between Glenbrook, Evanston, Skokie, Highland Park and Swedish Hospitals

What you will need :

License : Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

Education : Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSNpreferred

Certification : BLS / CPR certificationrequired (American Heart Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider)

Experience : 1 year of nursing experience in an physician practice or hospital setting preferred

What you will do :

• The RN, Employee Health Services works collaboratively to maximize employee productivity and advance the overall health and safety of the workforce
• Coordinating and performing pre-placement history and screenings, conducting return to work clearances, fit for duty evaluations, Covid triage, Exposure workups and annual screenings and assessments.
• Ability to multi-task and reflects clinical experience incorporating initiative, flexibility, team effort
• Participates in rotation of Employee Health Exposure 24 hr hotline 847-570-2233 (BBFE). This hotline is triaged by our rotating EHS on call nurse for one week and is paid separate stipend for each time assigned on call.

When taking on call after hours this is 100% remote triage, you do not come into the site after hours.

Effectively interact with the NorthShore University Health System workforce, Human Resources, medical staff, and management, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing
