Medical Records Clerk
Job Description :
- Project work to move all paper charts into electronic records for the clinic.
- 21,000 charts with average page count of 34 - will deconstruct each chart and scan documents into EMR in the correct patient chart
- Accurately scanning documents to the client EMR in the correct patient chart.
- Accurately entering patient information into clients EHR system
Qualifications :
- 1 year experience in a professional office setting - admin, data entry, customer service - a role that required high attn to detail, meeting deadlines, computer knowledge and heavy scanning
- Strong computer literacy - MS Office including Excel
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
