We are actively seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to contribute to our team of healthcare professionals, delivering outstanding healthcare within our facility.
Position : Licensed Physical Therapist
Salary : Up to $57 / hr
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate residents and formulate appropriate treatment goals, methods, and physical therapy treatment plans.
- Implement treatment plans, document services, and apply therapeutic techniques in areas such as gait, ambulation, muscle strength, coordination, endurance, mobility, posture control, sensory awareness, sitting and standing skills, balance, and orientation.
- Design and fit adaptive devices, providing training on their use, including orthotics and prosthetics.
- Select physical modalities tailored to individual needs, physical capacity, mobility activities, and diagnosis.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to determine the most suitable therapeutic regimen for each resident.
- Instruct residents in mobility activities, evaluate progress, and adjust programs according to individual needs.
- Attend and contribute to resident care, staffing conferences, and related meetings.
- Supervise supportive personnel in compliance with state and professional standards.
- Conduct training programs and participate in training medical, nursing, and other personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives.
- Manage the ordering of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, identification, and reporting of equipment in need of repair.
Licensed Physical Therapist Requirements :
Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
