Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist
Location : Nevada (Remote)
Job Type : Flexible Contract - Work From Home
Pay : $42 / Hour
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a remote basis. As a Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, families, teachers, and other educational professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a virtual learning environment.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to students using evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to implement interventions and support strategies in the virtual classroom.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued improvement.
- Offer guidance and support to educators on integrating speech and language goals into the virtual curriculum.
- Participate in virtual meetings and professional development activities to stay current on best practices and emerging trends in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing the practice of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Nevada.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Experience providing virtual or teletherapy services is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using technology platforms for virtual learning and teletherapy (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, telepractice software).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Passion for helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve academic success.
