RESPONSIBILITIES

The School Custodian performs day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of school facilities and grounds-keeping; and ensures that buildings are safe, in good repair, and operating efficiently.

Our School Custodians play an essential part in our educational system, and we value their contributions.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years experience working in a school environment
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to properly operate all custodial equipment, including the proper use of chemicals and solutions
• Prior experience performing minor repairs
• Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram format
• Maintain professional relationship with supervisor, staff, parents, scholars, and the public.
• Ability to lift and / or carry up to 80 lbs
• Must work indoors and outdoors year-round.
