Reporting to the VP of Tax, the ideal candidate has 8-12 years working in the Tax field, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

The best candidate will have exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to adapt in a busy environment, and the desire to help with tax and accounting issues as needed.

Main responsibilities include tax provision review, tax return workpaper review, domestic and international tax compliance, return review and relationship maintenance with outside tax service providers (both domestic and international).

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the preparation, review and filing of Federal partnership and corporate returns
  • Manage the preparation and review of Quarterly provision work
  • Managing relationships with 3rd party service providers both domestic and international
  • Managing tax staff
  • Manage monthly international tax filings
  • Communicate with IRS and local tax authorities and prepare audit documentation
  • Maintain / enforce a documented system of tax policies and procedures
  • Research and document relevant tax issues

Required Skills : To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies :

  • Communication Skills - Must be able to communicate effectively and in a concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptability - Adapt to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation;

able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, appreciates opportunity to adjust and adapt with growing business.

Software Expertise - Some accounting software experience preferably in Zuora and Great Plains. Proven expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel.

Experience with Salesforce.com, Jira, and Avalara preferred but not required. Proven ability to pick up software quickly.

Qualifications : Candidate must meet the following qualifications :

  • 8-12 years experience
  • CPA required
  • Masters in tax preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and / or finance
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail while multi-tasking in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience managing staff and working with tax and accounting departments.
  • Prepare and present information in both formal and informal settings.

Compensation - $120,000 - $150,000 Base Salary

We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location;

in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education / training and experience related to scope of responsibilities.

Bonus - This position is eligible for the company's bonus plan, to the extent offered, at a target bonus percentage of up to 10% of your annual salary.

FAM Trip - This Position is eligible for the Employee Familiarization Travel Program.
