We are looking for an experienced R&D IP portfolio analyst / project portfolio leader to lead and execute complex IP landscapes, design patent strategies, and manage complex R&D project portfolios in support of the Health & Biosciences Business.
The successful candidate must have an extensive track record of minimally 10 years in an industrial biotechnology R&D environment, must have extensive knowledge of patents in biotechnology, and must have experience in leading complex multidisciplinary R&D projects to commercial success.
Experience in people and team leadership is an advantage.
Responsibilities :Identifies important, complex innovation problems and formulates strategies to resolve. Focuses on generating and championing IP that has a significant commercial impact on IFF.
Main contributor to development of new, executable concepts that address key business needs.

Seeks to continuously improve individual and group expertise in focus areas in order to ensure IFF is on the leading-edge of science and technology.

Engages team, stakeholders and leadership in planning and achieving strategic focused objectives. Monitors opportunities and threats and takes action to adapt work to meet project goals.
Engages internal and external stakeholders to define needs, develop research strategy, and gain agreement.
LEADERSHIP
Acts as a consultant to R&D and Divisional leaders in area of expertise and technology strategy. Mentors and acts as a role model to all levels within the organization.
Builds effective teams via integrating diverse talents, as well as motivating and inspiring members to excel and achieve breakthrough results.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education and relevant experience requirements : PhD + 10 years or equivalent in relevant discipline.

$210,300.00 - $315,500.00
