The Collier Companies is seeking an Independent Self-Starter for Regional Field Service Technician for the Collier Family Office!
This is an on-site role, reporting out of The Collier Companies Florida Home Office in Gainesville, which offers beautiful natural areas, a temperate climate, and tremendous educational, cultural, and commercial opportunities.

The Regional Field Service Technician to the Office of the Chair is a key member of the Office of the Chair that supports the Chairman and Founder of The Collier Companies and ensures the Founder and Chairman’s legacy assets are properly maintained.
This position reports to the Director of the Collier Family Office / Chief of Staff under the direction of the Founder and Chairman.
You must be flexible and adaptive to ever-changing projects and family goals.

Qualifications
Your Skills Show Us What You Got :
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication
- Take full ownership of projects and ask questions as needed.
- Ability to research, compile and summarize quotes and budgets into requests for approval.
- Anticipate the needs of the Office of the Chair and the Collier Family Office and take immediate, thoughtful action in a logical sequence.
- A track record for goal setting and meeting or exceeding targets.
- Provide personal assistance and concierge services to Owner / Founder and to guests, friends, and family as needed / requested.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
As a Regional Field Service Technician, you are responsible for maintaining The Collier Companies home office in addition to a dozen or more residences within Chair’s personal portfolio.
The Regional Field Service Technician is an expert at trouble shooting, diagnosing problems and making solutions with a customer service attitude.
You will be responsible for finding and managing outside venders for work that is outside of your core skillset. The Regional Field Service Technician responsibilities could include but are not limited to repairs in areas such as HVAC (if applicable), lawn maintenance, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural and appliance.
An existing skill set in maintaining mechanized driveway gates helpful as well as a basic understanding of landscaping and lawn maintenance.
This is a full-time position that consists of emergency on-call commitment. Overtime commitment in Summer / Fall turn season.
Working Environment :
- Typical office setting but requires a great deal of out of office tasks.
- Physical demands include typing, sitting, seeing, hearing, communicating, writing, standing, lifting, and traveling.
- Outdoor and indoor work required, changing weather conditions.
- Outdoor activities and commuting from one home to another or one building to another.
