We are seeking a Senior Research Associate to take on a major role in our research. While this is not a management position, you will be expected to take on more responsibilities due to your experience in this field.
You may develop simulation models and digital twin models of parts of the NPES power distribution system, design, and lead experiments, conduct literature reviews, collect data, and analyze data, or simply scour over complex data sets as part of your research.
You will also collaborate with various other professionals to set up and conduct simulations and experiments, and you will present your findings to the relevant stakeholders.
Minimum Required Education and Experience :
Requires a master’s degree in area of specialty and five years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications :
PhD in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant research experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
- Experience relevant to our area of research
- Ability to schedule and coordinate work of a team.
- Ability and willingness to train and mentor Research Associates / Graduate Students.
- Ability to train and supervise research assistants in implementing project work.
