PURCHASING RESPONSIBILITES :

• Ordering parts / maintenance materials as needed
• Procurement of parts through vendor contacts
• Receiving items / parts into the parts room
• Maintaining inventory in parts rooms
• Releasing / issuing items / parts and tools from the parts room
• Performing administrative tasks related to parts room inventory management
• Develops and maintains spare parts inventory control system including cataloging by equipment, part, and location
• Reviews receipts and packing slips to ensure new parts are received complete and items are warehoused in appropriate locations
• May approve invoices for payment upon receipt of goods, based on proper signature approval on PO request
• Drops off or picks up emergency parts as necessary.
• Performs various other duties as assigned at all three manufacturing facilities.
