*SARASOTA MEMORIAL is looking for New Grad/Novice/Experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Medical Care Unit (3NW) - Nights (7p-7:30a)

Department Medical Care Unit Job Summary Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice.

Medical Care Unit 3NW : This unit provides care to patients with Medical Surgical conditions. We accomodate agressive, combative or elopement risk that are on holds (BA / MA) as well as severe ETOH patients that require Phenobarbital.

This is NOT a "locked" unit or a "Psychiatric" unit. Salary Details : Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within organization.

Minimum rate starting at $31.50, max of salary range is $50.35. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.

50. Required Qualifications - Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) required within five (5) years of hire date.

Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.

Mandatory Education ASN / ADN Associate Science of Nursing Preferred Education BSN : Bachelor of Science Nursing Required License and Certs BLS : Basic Life Support / CPR FL RN : FL Registered Nurse License Preferred License and Certs ACLS : Advanced Cardiac Life Support 7p-7a rotating weekends.
