A chain of renowned and prestigious urgent care centers to immediately hire a full-time / part-time qualified Certified Medical Assitant in North Bergen, NJ.
This job is in a dynamic and professional environment in state-of-the-art facilities that include X-ray, EKG, PFT, and more.
The supporting staff performs admission and eligibility, triaging patients, injection, and phlebotomy work. Providers will have a complete report in the EMR before they examine the patients.
Responsibilities :
- Assisting with examinations and procedures,
- Administering medications as directed by the physician,
- Removing sutures and changing dressings,
- Coordinating referrals to other healthcare providers,
- Following infection control and safety protocols, and
- Billing and coding for insurance purposes.
Qualifications :
- Certfiied in the state of New Jersey
- At least 1-2 years of experience,
- Spanish or Arabic proficiency is preferred,
- High organizational skills, and
- Effective and compassionate communication skills. Job Type :
