Information Security Technical Senior Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Information Security Technical Senior Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties : Lead and conduct deep-dive vulnerability assessments on a variety of applications including Web, Mobile, Thick Client, and APIs by manually identifying, researching, validating, and exploiting various known and unknown application security vulnerabilities.

Coordinate and plan complex security assessments. Act as a subject matter expert in offensive information security performing white-box application reviews, programming, networking, operating systems, and databases.

Drive remediation by outlining a defense-in-depth approach to business stakeholders and provide strategic solutions to developers on effective security controls and counter measures.

Conduct technical writing and presentation skills to report and articulate the vulnerability assessment results to any audience.

Contribute to the review of internal processes and activities and assist in identifying potential opportunities for improvement and automation.

Perform in-depth analysis and research of new vulnerabilities and exploits. Develop proof of concepts to characterize exploitability and impact.

Perform risk assessment and articulate security issues to technical and non-technical audience. Use threat modeling to systemically identify, prioritize and mitigate potential security threats.

Conduct penetration testing to simulate real world cyberattacks, evaluate the resilience of the system against potential threats and uncover vulnerabilities.

A telecommuting / hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements : Requires a Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Engineering or related field and 8 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as an Information Security Engineer, Information Security Analyst or related position involving Penetration testing against Web applications.

8 years of experience must include : Web Application Vulnerability Assessments; Mobile Application and Thick Client Vulnerability Assessments Risk Assessment and Threat modeling;
