Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care within our healthcare organization.
The Director of Nursing will be responsible for managing nursing operations, developing nursing policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism among nursing staff.

Key responsibilities
- Nursing Leadership : Provide visionary leadership to the nursing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
- Clinical Oversight : Oversee all nursing operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, best practices, and organizational policies
- Patient Care Quality : Lead efforts to continuously monitor and improve the quality of patient care, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction within nursing units.
- Staffing and Scheduling : Develop and implement staffing plans and schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal utilization of nursing resources
- Training and Development : Provide leadership and support for nursing education and training programs, promoting the professional development and competency of nursing staff
- Performance Management : Establish performance metrics and standards for nursing staff, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide feedback and coaching to support individual growth and development
- Collaboration : Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, allied health professionals, and administrators, to coordinate patient care and achieve organizational goals
- Quality Improvement : Lead quality improvement initiatives within nursing units, analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing evidence-based strategies to enhance patient care and safety
Qualification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Proven leadership experience in nursing management or supervisory roles, with at least X years of experience preferred.
- Strong clinical background with expertise in nursing practice, patient care delivery, and quality improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of nursing regulations, standards of practice, and accreditation requirements.
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and excellence in nursing practice.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare technology preferred.
