Job Details
- IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour
- Local rate rule : $15 off the BR. ICU, PCU and M / S Peds and Adult RNs residing in the state of Indiana are considered local and will be accepted at the local rate.

- Shift Requirements : 4x12 or 3x12
- Weekends : Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need
- Charge coverage : Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
Job Requirements
- ACLS and BCLS; NIH Preferred
- Minimum 2 Year Experience
- Telemetry on unit monitoring
- IV insulin protocols and Tirtration of insulin drips
- Feeding tube care and management
- Pre / post hemodialysis management
- Blood product administration
- Monitoring Chemotherapy
- Heparin protocols
- Manage cardia drips no titration
- External CPA / BiPAP
- High Flow Nasal Cannula
- Isolation Precautions
- Staffing Ratios : 1 : 4
Schedule Information
- Shift Requirements : 4x12 or 3x12
- If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.
9 FTE. OR if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract
- If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract

- Unit Information : Medical PCU - almost ICU level acuity - multiple cardiac drips. Stable vents. Multi-organ failure, liver failure, pulmonary
- Effective 9 / 1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses. Declinations will not be accepted;
however medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note provided.
