Technical Production Supervisor
Photocentric Group are an awarding winning manufacturer based in the UK and Phoenix, Arizona. We have applied our innovations to craft and office stamps and 3D Printing and are the largest clear stamp manufacturer in America and Europe along with commercializing the first 3D printer based on an LCD.
We are now seeking a working Technical Production Supervisor to manage a small team of machine operators. The ideal person should have experience of machine operating with the ability to trouble shoot and carry out simple maintenance together with leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities required for our Technical Machine Supervisor :
- Provide a high-quality level of leadership and coaching for the machine operator employees.
- Carry out maintenance and trouble shooting when required.
- Learn to operate production machine equipment per standard procedures.
- Manage the throughput of production jobs.
- Update work orders on the system using Oracle.
- Work towards continuous improvement.
- Create a positive work environment where everyone can perform at their very best.
- Ensure team members are trained properly working to SOPs while following the cross-training program.
- Understand all relevant KPIs and drive to meet / exceed targets.
- Meet safety, production goals, quality, and cost initiatives.
Skills and Experience required for our Technical Machine Supervisor :
- Proven experience as a working Production Supervisor.
- Naturally technically minded and curious to learn.
- Ability to run the production area with best manufacturing practices within Lean Operating System Context.
- Hands-on approach and wiling to operate the machine.
- Good communicator with natural interpersonal leadership skills.
- Ability to lead / motivate a team to the highest standards of work.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
