GENERAL SUMMARY :
Under general direction of Surgical Services Leadership, supervises employees engaged in reprocessing reusable surgical instrumentation, stocking and distributing sterile supplies to assigned areas.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist or Sterile Reprocessing Technician required.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURES REQUIRED :
Certified Sterile Professing and Distribution Tech (CSPDT), OR Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), OR Certified Surgical Technologist;
AND must obtain a CSPDT or CRCST within 12 months.
