Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced PLC Control Systems Build and Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building PLC control systems, ensuring their connectivity to the network.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC control systems.

Responsibilities
- Designing and building PLC control systems according to external client requirements encompassing PLC brand selection, following electrical design schematics and related coordination with the Software team.
- Ensuring connectivity between PLC control systems and the network
- Ensuring connectivity to the database associated with the control systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving PLC control system issues during testing phases / prior to delivery-installation
- Conducting system testing and validation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in PLC control systems design and build including Ladder Logic; experience with multi-site PLC Systems (SCADA, DCS or similar systems that use RTU's is a plus)
- Ability to read and / or create Electrical Schematics using AutoCAD or a similar application.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages, such as ladder logic and structured text
- Experience with network protocols and connectivity, such as Ethernet / IP and Modbus TCP / IP or similar.
- Proficiency in PLC Control System database connectivity and or DB Reporting is a plus.
- Experience with other areas of PLC Systems such as lists of parts, bill or materials, rfq / rfp fluency or other paperwork or business side of PLC systems is a plus
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for control systems design and implementation particularly for external client needs is also a plus.
