Project Coordinator Description :

An industry leading Steel Construction company operating out of Waco is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist Project Management for their growing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the steel industry and have familiarity with Commercial Construction projects under AISC standards.

Job duties entail support functions to aid the project team the successful completion of projects. Support can include estimating, project management, planning, scheduling, correspondence, and general supportive tasks.

This role supports the overall success of the teams and the companies’ objectives.

Project Coordinator Required Skills :

• Proficient with computers and familiar with the following a requirement : Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong math and communication skills
• Detailed oriented and organized
• Plan reading skills is preferred
• Ability to work within a Team setting

Project Coordinator Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with Bluebeam
• Familiarity with Tekla EPM or general comfort using / learning new EPM type software
• Background in construction of some form, welding and fabrication background a plus
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills
• Ability to take direction but also comfortable in showing initiative for self-improvement

Project Coordinator Duties :

• Aid estimating / bid preparations
• Aide in project data tracking (RFI’s logs, Submittal logs, updating tracking information)
• Provide assistance on Change Proposal / Supplemental contract drawing review
• Aide in documentation of records / files
• Support in development / maintenance of project schedules (internally / external)
• Aide in keeping up weekly reports / Fabsuite data logs / drawing logs / project information
• Support in client communications, coordination

Pay Range : $25 - $30 / hour DOE
