  • Position Summary :

  • Halo is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Lifecycle Marketing to lead the design and execution of personalized marketing strategies across the entire customer journey.
  • This leader will be accountable for driving customer retention, engagement, and lifetime value through innovative, data-driven lifecycle programs.
  • Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Membership, the Director will partner closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Data, Creative, and Customer Success—to deliver seamless, impactful campaigns and continuously optimize the customer experience.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Lifecycle Marketing Strategy & Leadership Own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy to maximize customer engagement, retention, and revenue throughout the customer journey.
  • Translate business objectives into lifecycle programs that drive measurable outcomes (e.g., member retention, customer lifetime value, and recurring revenue).
  • Design, implement, and oversee multi-channel campaigns (email, in-app, push, SMS), leveraging Braze and agency partners as needed.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation, leading robust A / B and multivariate testing to optimize communications and accelerate learning.
  • Data-Driven Personalization & Optimization Leverage proprietary and third-party data to identify customer trends, segment audiences, and deliver personalized, high-impact campaigns.
  • Analyze performance metrics to inform strategy and continuously improve results.
  • Report regularly on campaign performance and provide actionable insights to executive stakeholders.
  • Stay current on industry trends, CRM best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure a competitive edge.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration Partner with Data, Product, Creative, Customer Success, and Operations teams to ensure lifecycle programs are aligned, seamless, and customer-centric.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships with accountability for deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus). 8+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing, with a proven track record of driving measurable growth through multi-channel campaigns.
  • Expertise with customer engagement platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and strong knowledge of marketing automation best practices.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and data languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) to query, analyze, and synthesize insights into actionable strategies.
  • Highly analytical and strategic thinker, able to translate complex data into clear insights and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Creative teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing strategic priorities with flawless execution.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a passion for continuous optimization and customer engagement innovation.
