Charlotte's Team Member (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Position Summary Charlotte’s Coffee House seeks personable, adaptable, and service-oriented Team Members to join our dynamic, fast-paced café environment.

This is a cross-functional position responsible for a wide range of duties, including barista service , food preparation , kitchen expediting , cashiering , baker and front-of-house support .

The core focus of this role is to deliver an exceptional guest experience and contribute to the seamless daily operations of our cafés.

Key Responsibilities Deliver an outstanding customer experience by proactively attending to guest needs and cultivating a welcoming atmosphere.

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, beverages, and food items, adhering to Charlotte's quality and presentation standards.

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all orders by effectively coordinating between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash handling and payment processing.

Execute daily opening and closing procedures meticulously to ensure operational readiness and efficiency.

Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work environment, including stocking service areas throughout the shift.

Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to ensure a seamless workflow.

Qualifications Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple tasks.

A high degree of adaptability and a willingness to be cross-trained across all café functions (e.g., Barista, Cashier, Cook, Food Prep).

Flexible schedule availability, including weekends.

Keen attention to detail, especially regarding order accuracy, presentation, and cleanliness.

Previous experience in a café, food service, customer service, or hospitality role is highly preferred but not required.

Knowledge of food safety protocols is considered an asset.

Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage of $12.00–$14.00, supplemented by tips.

Eligibility for medical benefits following a 90-day introductory period.
