Job Description\n

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Med / Surg role in Wisconsin requiring a compact license, BLS, PALS, and EPIC experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a Med / Surg unit within a hospital setting
  • Care for adult patients and occasional pediatric surgical patients including ENT and ortho cases
  • 12-hour variable shifts, including every other weekend and holiday
  • Float to similar units as needed, including Howard Young, Tomahawk, and Eagle River locations
  • Pre-scheduled floating may occur based on staffing needs
  • Possible on-call status during periods of low census
  • Uses EPIC for charting
  • Scrub color is flexible; any color is acceptable
  • Every other holiday coverage is required
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
  • Care may include occasional pediatric surgical patients

  • Active WI RN or compact nursing license required
  • Current AHA or Red Cross BLS and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years Med / Surg nursing experience
  • EPIC charting experience
