We are currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified Special Education Teachers for multiple openings / caseloads for the 2023 / 2024 school year in Pawtucket, RI.
Position Overview : As a Special Education Teacher, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working to ensure the success and well-being of students with diverse learning needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a Special Educator License and demonstrate a passion for creating an inclusive and supportive educational experience.
Responsibilities :
- Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) : Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with special needs.
- Differentiated Instruction : Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Collaboration : Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Data Collection : Regularly assess and collect data on student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Behavioral Support : Implement positive behavior intervention strategies to support a positive and respectful classroom environment.
Qualifications :
- Special Educator License in the state of Rhode Island.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.
