Robert Half is recruiting for a skilled Property Accountant to join our team in Burlingame, California. In this role, you will manage the financial operations for various properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will play a key part in preparing financial reports, overseeing budgets, and collaborating with property managers to maintain financial efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting expertise in the real estate industry.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain and oversee the general ledger while managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments and tenant billing.
• Reconcile bank accounts regularly and monitor cash flow across multiple properties.
• Track, analyze, and report on property income, expenses, and budgets to support financial decision-making.
• Process rent collections, ensuring accurate allocation of tenant payments.
• Prepare and submit sales tax filings and other regulatory reports as required.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasting for individual properties.
• Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate tracking of property-related expenses.
• Support external audits and assist in tax preparation by maintaining well-organized financial records and documentation.
