About the Position :
The Job Coach is responsible for helping individuals with developmental disabilities develop the skills they need to attain employment in the competitive work force.
Candidate should always be prepared, responsive and willing to meet each challenge directly. Send resume to hr@hasccenter.

Mission Statement :
The HASC Center mission is to advocate for, educate and assist individuals with developmental and intellectual challenges to make life choices, exercise independence and develop responsibility.
In this endeavor, HASC Center encourages all individuals to maximize their dreams and become productive members of the community.
This is accomplished by providing an array of individual and family supports through a dedicated team of professionals and support staff.
About the Program :
Location : Brooklyn, NY
Schedule :
Can vary depending on each individual schedule
Responsibilities :
- Plan and implement a job coaching strategy.
- Assist adults with developmental disabilities in learning and excelling in their job functions.
- Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the individual.
- Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
- Adhere to all HASC Center policies as outlined in the Policy and Procedure manual.
Education and Experience :
- High School Diploma / GED.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
- High degree of attention to detail.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Upbeat with a motivational attitude
- Willing to take initiative
