Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 1 year of recent CT experience for a variable shift position.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital CT scan department with varied shifts
  • Variable 8-hour day shifts between 6am and 5pm, Monday through Friday
  • Potential off-shifts include evenings, overnights, and 12-hour weekend day or overnight shifts as needed
  • Use of EPIC EMR system
  • Responsible for producing high quality CT images that meet department standards
  • Expected to maintain safety guidelines for self, support staff, and patients
  • Flexibility is required to staff various work locations, shift times, and shift lengths as needed by the department
  • Teamwork and effective communication are essential to ensure optimal patient care
  • COVID vaccination and booster are required for consideration
  • Returning travelers may work up to one calendar year before a required break

    • Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography required
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
  • ARRT (CT) certification preferred
  • Appropriate state licensure required if applicable
  • At least 1 year of recent CT technologist experience required
  • Must be organized, efficient, able to work independently, and demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work varied hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call as assigned
